NARRATIVE TEXT

Orientation (Beginning):
This story begin when the afternoon, the rainwater soaked Seoul City. And Krystal stayed in the bus station waiting the rain stop.

MIDLE
Complication : Krystal woke up late and she forgot bring umbrella.
Sequence of event :
  • ·         Krystal was bored and started felt breeze because almost a hours, she stayed.
  • ·         At the same time, her cell phone battery is five percent and her boyfriend wasn’t reply her message


Resolution (Ending) :
  • ·         She decided through the rain
  • ·         Kai pick up Krystal because he is worry his girlfriend hasn’t go home yet




UMBRELLA
Nia Wijaya

This afternoon, rainwater soaked the Seoul City. Almost an hour, Krystal stayed at the bus station waiting for the rain. Now and then, she sighed heavily and cursed her mistake because this morning did not have time to bring an umbrella because she woke up late.

Her body shivered as the breeze blew away a few strands of her wet hair. She should have been home enjoying a glass of hot chocolate and then curled up under the blanket comfortably but today was not her lucky day.

She reached into cell phone in coat pocket, checking the reply message that she sent to Kai. Unfortunately, Kai did not reply to her message at all. Seeing cell phone battery which is only five percent left, discouraged her intention to contact Kai. For God's sake, this is really unlucky day.

The bus station started quiet, the location of the bus station and the house is not too far away but only takes fifteen minutes to walk. Finally, Krystal decides to break through the rain. She protected head with the small bag she was carrying.

Her steps stopped when a young man stood in front of her, banging her forehead on the young man’s chest. At that time, she did not feel the rain water that wet her body.

Krystal looks up to find Kai who is smiling at her. One of the young man's hands is carrying an umbrella to protect their bodies, "Stop making me worry like this," Kai said while wiped Krystal's cheek.

"Sorry." Kai smiles softly while wrapping his arms around Krystal's back erase the distance between them.

"Let’s go home. I will make you hot chocolate. " Krystal smiles happily while tightening their hugs.

  TBL includes three basic stages ： the Pre-task ，  the Task cycle and the Language focus. But PPP and TBL give the clear context to learners. I consider that PPP is extremely effective in a focus-on-form lesson ， especially at lower levels. BOOK REVIEW : TEACHER'S PET BY GRAEME WINTON

The short story Teacher’s Pet by Graeme Winton. Teacher’s pet talk has thriller, mysterius genre. This story talk about Mr Leakey is murdered.. In the beginning he called electrician the named Dave Gardener. Mr Leakey planed to kill Dave in the floorboard. And it works! In the morning, Karen Gardener, dave’s wife come to Mr Leakey’s house. She felt something wrong about Mr Leakey. So she decide to looking for Dave. She knew that Mr. Leakey was evil because he killed his friend when he was school. But she is not report the police. She must knew one thing that psycophat is genius. I  definitely loved read this story. In the beginning part I don’t feel anything wrong with the first character. Mr Leakey like the goodman so Dave don’t know something wrong about him. But in the middle until the last part you can feel how the first character is psychopath.
