Compare And Contrast PPP and TBL

  TBL includes three basic stages ： the Pre-task ，  the Task cycle and the Language focus. But PPP and TBL give the clear context to learners. I consider that PPP is extremely effective in a focus-on-form lesson ， especially at lower levels. But I add that PPP becomes less useful when the learner has already known a lot of language ，  and therefore may not meet the needs of the learner.   The TBL however impacts teachers and learners in different ways. It is not easy for teachers to choose a task that is appropriate to the level of learners and based on learners ’  needs. Comparing PPP and TBL 1. BOOK REVIEW : TEACHER'S PET BY GRAEME WINTON

The short story Teacher’s Pet by Graeme Winton. Teacher’s pet talk has thriller, mysterius genre. This story talk about Mr Leakey is murdered.. In the beginning he called electrician the named Dave Gardener. Mr Leakey planed to kill Dave in the floorboard. And it works! In the morning, Karen Gardener, dave’s wife come to Mr Leakey’s house. She felt something wrong about Mr Leakey. So she decide to looking for Dave. She knew that Mr. Leakey was evil because he killed his friend when he was school. But she is not report the police. She must knew one thing that psycophat is genius. I  definitely loved read this story. In the beginning part I don’t feel anything wrong with the first character. Mr Leakey like the goodman so Dave don’t know something wrong about him. But in the middle until the last part you can feel how the first character is psychopath. I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened to the character. Because in the last story, the author just tell about ...
